The Casual Me

Casual but Formal

I don't know how many of you are like me but I'm quite sure I'm not the only one. I have been a lazy guy. So, I do very less grooming compared to good looking friends of mine. However, being lazy isn't the only reason I don't dress up like others. It's about how and in what clothes I feel comfortable. And I have always liked casual wears. Well, it's summer time and I am obviously loving shorts. T-shirts with light materials are what makes me feel really good. But the thing is that I cannot just wear light t-shirts and shorts everyday. Times come when I have to keep them aside and wear heavy stuffs. Suits (coat/jacket + pants/trousers) are what I sometimes need to wear. But I feel far less comfortable in those formal clothes. And that's one reason I don't attend parties that often. If you go to a decent party and appear in a cool pair of shorts and a t-shirt, then you become a piece of joker there. So, I rather choose to stay at my home with my shorts.
When I attend such parties - like wedding parties, I'm most likely in a semi-formal dress since I'm reluctant to appear in a fully formal outfit most of the time. That way, I somehow can convince those people out there and myself too to some extent. So, if you are one among those who will be inviting me to your formal parties, make up your mind not to see me in a super formal costume. Chances are I might greet you in my t-shirt and shorts (haven't done so yet). So, think twice before inviting me. And trust me when I say it's not easy at all to be in those suits in this scorching summer.

Hey! By the way, t-shirt and shorts wouldn't make a bad dress code for wedding reception in summer.

(P.S. : Don't take my words too seriously.)
