It used to be quite a regular thing to walk for at least half an hour a day few years back. Commuting from and to my college made me so. But those days have gone now. Sometimes I don't even walk at all. So, i felt this urge to walk all the way to home as the weather started becoming cloudy and finally rained. With an umbrella that is big enough to block raindrops even in quite a heavy rain, I decided not to take a bus to get back to home. I also had another pretty decent reason not to get on a bus. Because of some repair and reconstruction work being done on the road, It had taken too long to get downtown. So, I thought it would be a better choice to take a walk. Of course, It was fun walking carefree in a rainy weather when a lot of people were either rushing here and there or waiting for the rain to stop. I didn't have to worry at all about the rain. Instead, a man came under my umbrella and asked me to help him up to a minute-distance walk.
Walking on a rainy day and passing by the place full of cafes and restaurants, I insisted myself to get into a cafe and have some coffee (though I've been thinking of consuming less caffeine). I had heard this name 'Coffee Pasal' before from one of my friends. So, I thought of having a look at the place and take some sips of coffee.
The ambience was nice there. And I'm glad that the staff members were courteous enough to greet the guests, serve them well and ask for feedback. Otherwise, lately I've been to quite a few number of restaurants where they didn't even care if there were guests waiting for long time to make some order. Coffee Pasal is not a place to look for cheap prices but the prices are quite reasonable as for being at the hot and happening location.
It's quite a cozy place. But the number of liquor bottles there made me think for a while, "hmmm.... coffee pasal?". However, it's a nice place to go sometimes.
My walk continued even after trying a cup of coffee (or a glass of coffee I guess). I began sweating after walking half way through. But it was worth it after such a long time. Had a nice shower back home.
P.S.: Had some momos before reaching home. Just didn't feel like mentioning before.
